Safarsaga Films had the privilege to interview Manish Malhotra the top Indian fashion designer and mentor of London School of Trends.
Mr. Malhotra said, “It’s his pleasure to be the Chief Mentor of London School of Trends for its Indian operations and would like to contribute his experience to mentor the next generation of Indian designers. He shared his pearls of wisdom with the Fashion Design Students of Chandigarh and advised them to be original, creative and hardworking to make a mark in this challenging yet glamorous field.”
We too agree with Manish Malhotra on his vision that it is important to be hardworking. And we feel that the participants who will be mentored by him will take Fashion Design to a greater level.
Talking about our meet and greet with Manish Malhotra, we prepared a questionnaire for interviewing him. Unfortunately, we were able to ask only one question because of the time constraints. But Safarsaga the Fashion Photographer in Chandigarh are content with it. We believe that talking with such a great personality, even for a mere minute, creates an aura that you absorb as well. You get to see that how creative, hardworking, determined and confident that person is. Every person leaves a mark on you and you learn something from that person. Even if it’s a minuscule thing.
So our question to him was “Why does he always wear black?” As an audience, we thought that the reason might be associated with some superstition or maybe that he considers black as his lucky color or maybe black is his favorite color. We assumed that one of these might be his reply and the moment we asked him this question, let us tell you that those 10 seconds were the longest time 10 seconds of our life.
But then he simply smiled and we saw his eyes spark up. Then he responded to our question, “Black makes me look slim. I feel I am fat.” We were astonished by his reply but we believe that he just have a misconception about him. He is perfect in every way. A great designer, a humble being, and a super-hot guy.
